Top online learning tools, 2009
On an annual basis Jane Hart surveys educators and related professionals (278 this year) about their favourite online learning tools, many of which are freely available. I can't seem to find the methodology, nor student rankings, both of which I thought were available in previous years - but I find these lists particularly useful for finding out what's available for a certain job e.g. collaborative concept-mapping or animation. Here's the 2009 list (see her left hand sidebar menu to browse them in different ways - ranking, category, winners and losers). Also useful, her enormous Tools Directory.
In GLEU we are collecting exemplars and evaluations of these tools in a higher education setting. If you have any, we'd be very interested to see them.
