Just a quick reminder that we are running a Learn.gold: Beyond the filing cabinet workshop for staff on Wednesday 5th February from 2pm to 4pm in BPB 3-4.
This workshop is ideal for staff who have the essentials under their belt and want to discover more about learn.gold's capabilities. We'll be covering the following areas:
- Recording a short video message directly into a learn.gold resource.
- Creating groups and groupings and adding participants.
- Setting up forums to use groups and directing posts to specific groups.
- Restricting topics, resources and activities to specific groups.
- Inviting participants to join a specific group themselves using the 'group choice' activity.
- Creating quizzes and different question types.
- Understanding different types of forums and their subscription settings.
- Using the 'Scheduler' activity to set up appointments with students.
