ITDS, TaLIC and Registry have been working with the external developer on the Marking and Moderation plug in. The planned updates took longer than expected, but a series of improvements and bug fixes went live this morning (April 19th). These include:
- An interim solution which allows the Registry Operations team to extract grades from the VLE and push these to the Student Records System (SRS)
- Solving issues with standard feedback comments where double marking is in place but not used
- Correcting the generation of moderation samples
- Fixing issues that caused ‘writing to database’ errors to appear
- Revised external examiner roles
As always, and particular after these updates, if you have questions about marking within the VLE, you can use the Ask a Question channel in MS Teams as this is supported across TaLIC, School Hubs, IT&DS and Registry staff. We will be closely monitoring these over the next few days.
