Learn.gold Essentials
A short introduction (or refresher) in using learn.gold, the Virtual Learning Environment at Goldsmiths. Ideal for new staff and those more experience who are returning after the summer break.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this 60 minute workshop, participants will be able to:
- Navigate their dashboard to access courses
- Browse categories
- Customize the view of the Dashboard and understand ‘past/present/future’ and ‘starred’ views
- Identify and manage enrolment methods
- Access and edit the main course settings (such as dates, description and course image)
- Create Announcements
- Add activities or resources
- Access learn.gold's help, from TaLIC and Moodle.org
