Panopto have made some changes to their service.
As of January 2022, there will be a new, sitewide default Archive
policy applied across all Panopto cloud sites. This will implement a
weekly system audit that moves Panopto videos that have not been viewed
in 13 months into the Archive every other week.
We don't think this will impact Goldsmiths. Archived videos can still be retrieved by users, but there may be a delay of up to 48 hours before they are available. We will monitor the situation so please contact us if it does cause issues.
We are currently investigating a separate issue with copying Panopto videos in bulk from one folder to another. Please contact us before trying this.
