Students - if you see a message saying you don't have permission to view a video, try the following:
- check you are using the latest Chrome or Firefox web browser (and not Safari or Internet Explorer)
- reload the course page and try the link again in the learn.gold Recording block
Sometimes the first time you access a course, you see this message until Panopto catches up.
Staff - if you receive access requests, check your recordings are published and please ask your students to reload the page and try again
- Check this by navigating into your matching course folder in Panopto, if any videos say 'not available' against them, find and click the corresponding 'publish' button for that recording.
- Send an Announcement out to your students if you receive requests, asking them to try again
Note this glitch only occurs when students first access a course.
