Staff - interested in using audio in your teaching?

It's become free and easy to record good-quality audio files at your desk or on the move, and make them available to your students. Examples include:
  • Recording and/or podcasting presentations, events, readings, interviews, course information etc
  • Making feedback on submitted work available as an audio file for individual students (learn.gold allows feedback to be uploaded in this way)
  • Recording a welcome or introduction for your course, or a tour of your department.
If you have some ideas for using audio with or for your students, and would like to try them out, contact Mira Vogel (m.vogel@gold.ac.uk; x7298). We can work on:
  • Streamlining the recording process to make it quick and easy
  • Exploring the educational effects of using audio
  • Disseminating the findings more widely within Goldsmiths
