Philosophy Bites is a site, belonging to a couple of writers and Radio 4 programme makers, which podcasts top philosophers interviewed on bite-sized topics.

If this sounds like you might need a tetanus jab and perhaps a shorter attention span, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. There's Melissa Lane on Rousseau on civilisation, John Broome on weighing lives, an interview with Peter Singer (on Ethics Bites), Julian Baggini on thought experiments, Mark Vernon on friendship and much more.

There's so much high quality audio material out there now - just whatever you do don't forget how to read.

Hi Mira,

You and your readers might be interested to learn that Julian Baggini is one of the many wonderful speakers who will be coming to talk at Goldsmiths as part of the APRU Invited Speaker Series (full details at http://www.goldsmiths.ac.uk/apru/speakers.php).

Julian also writes a regular column for the Skeptic magazine (which I happen to edit...). Full details at http://www.skeptic.org.uk/

Best wishes,

Chris
