RSA/Encyclopaedia Britannica debate: do students and school children know how to research?

Encyclopaedia Britannica controversially adopted a more collaborative model recently, to the triumph of Wikipedia advocates. There's an interesting post on this from Dominik Luke at the UEA.

The above-mentioned RSA debate (Tues 22nd July, 6pm, RSA, 8 John Adam St, Charing Cross, London, WC2N 6EZ) on how we can promote critical thinking and discernment in the emerging 'wisdom of crowds' approach to creating and engaging with knowledge, should be interesting. Attendance is free but booking is necessary.
